Required
To earn the ASME Section Ambassador digital badge, participants must actively engage in ASME Section activities, demonstrating leadership, collaboration, and a commitment to advancing the mission of ASME within their local or regional community. This includes planning or supporting events, facilitating connections between members, and promoting ASME initiatives and opportunities among peers and stakeholders. Ambassadors are expected to represent ASME in a professional and enthusiastic manner, fostering growth and engagement within the section.
Applicants must possess relevant experience that highlights their leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Experience may include prior involvement in ASME activities, volunteer roles, or other demonstrated contributions to engineering organizations or communities. The qualifications and experiences of each candidate are carefully reviewed by ASME staff to ensure alignment with the expectations and values of the Section Ambassador role.
